Dear Applicant,

Jungle Style strives to maintain a balance between having an easy going attitude and making efficient progress through difficult content. To achieve this, and keep it fun for all, we have to ensure our applicants are a good fit before becoming members.

What makes for a good fit?

Members of Jungle Style are expected to:

• Participate.

  Read and post on the forums. Sign up and play often. Be visible. Show that you want to be here. If you must be away from the game, please let us know.

• Be prepared.

  Read the fights ahead of time. Bring enough consumables. Get your gear in top shape. Every little bonus helps. Know the loot drops ahead of time and bid smart. Gear up outside of raids too.

• Take pride in your performance.

  Know your class and your role in the fight. Be observant and speak up if you see ways to improve. Fess up when you mess up - we will be impressed with your honesty. Don't repeat mistakes. Analyze your performance after the raid and find ways to do even better next time.

Some specific odds and ends to help you get started when you get an invite:

• You will have two accounts:
  • Site account.

    You will make this one when you apply. When you get an invite, you'll use this to sign up for raids, check your point totals, find useful links, etc.

  • Forums account.

    This is a separate account from the main site. You'll have to register on the forums. Please use the same name (which should be your main's name). Once made, we will have to authorize your account. Then you'll be able to read and post in our member forums.

• Your initial recruit period is three weeks. At the end of that period you can get a denial, an extension, or a promotion based on votes by the members. It's important that both the guild and the recruit evaluate the other to ensure a good match.
• Read the JSPS documentation and get a good understanding of how our point system works. The time to do this is before your first raid, not after the first item drops that you want to bid on.
